Initial reactions when walking in, the ambience was very relaxed. The decor is very well coordinated, I remember especially loving the lighting, hate a dingey dark restaurant and this certainly wasn’t that (made for perfect photo-taking too). I wasn’t overwhelmed with the presentation of the restaurant and I liked that a lot. Many places can overdo their settings and the Palm Beach Casino Restaurant finds a comfortable spot so you can dine, feel very well-to-do and relax at the same time.
I was pleasantly surprised about the selection of food on the array when I began perusing the menu.
Mediterranean, Indian, Arabic, even some British classics on there too. It was so amazing to see and immediately made me think how great this place would be for groups of people who have different preferences and tastes. I eventually chose the garlic king prawns and grilled lamb cutlets. My gosh, my tastebuds were in their happy place for sure. Much like the restaurant itself, the food finds a pleasant balance of flavourful but not overdone on the seasoning. My lamb was cooked perfectly and the prawns were ‘garlic and thick, a winning combination.
The staff were also very attentive and I was greeted very warmly, as I saw they did with everyone. The food came out in good time so both boxes were ticked there also. By the end of my visit, my tastebuds were definitely the ones feeling the luckiest after a wonderfully pleasant evening at The Palm Beach Casino Restaurant.
