70’s Bottomless Brunch – Bobby Fitzpatrick West Hampstead
Quirky 70’s theme? Yes… Pizza and cocktails specialists? Yes… Bangin’ brunch. Definitely yes
Located in West Hampstead, the unapologetically retro Bobby Fitzpatrick offers a seven dish bottomless brunch menu teeming with nostalgic and comforting dishes alongside some unexpected and playful delights. Diners can celebrate the winter season with a Christmas party classic, deliciously creamy devilled eggs, or pine for sunnier climes over the flavourful meatballs with Sicilian sweet and sour sauce, all complemented by free-flowing bottomless cocktails.
Options include the sumptuously sweet Coconut and Pineapple Mimosa, as well as the fun reworking of the classic tomato brunch tipple into the Bloody Derek, interchangeable throughout the brunch experience.
My brunch munch at Bobby Fitzpatrick was an all-round enjoyable experience. I was a huge fan of the firmly 70’s themed decor. Giving the interior a real cool character to it, as if stepping back in time with the old telephones, dogtooth wallpaper and classic-cut glasses. I could definitely see parties being thrown there, with their cocktails being so tasty and not too damaging to the wallet.
As mentioned, they are pizza specialists. I absolutely love pizza. What’s not to love? Ours included butternut squash and kalamata olives, an interesting combination that worked surprisingly well. The brunch all round had us trying out small plates of this and that, with no disappointments. Some wonderful little creations left my pallet thoroughly satisfied.
Drinks were also a delight. Being a brunch I only had one (can’t be turning into a midday alcoholic now), yet my coconut & pineapple mimosa was one to savour nonetheless. Very fitting the whole decor, and (I might add), a great spot if you’ve got a bit of a retro, hipster theme flourishing on your Instagram, lighting was beautiful too.
